Immerse yourself in the soothing embrace of hot waters, ranging from 35º to 38º C (95-100° F), while feasting your eyes upon breathtaking views of one of Mexico’s finest natural wonders. Dive into a world of fun within a collection of hot spring pools, ingeniously carved into a cliff of a picturesque canyon, where towering walls reach up to 500 m high (1640 ft).

"If you want my opinion, doing a private tour with Vibe Adventures is the way forward if you are a couple or can get a small group together to bring down the cost. I was with my partner and our guide gave us plenty of time and space to relax and enjoy the experience. We never felt rushed at all. It really was the perfect day."

"You have 4 options to get to Grutas Tolantongo from Mexico City – sign up for a private or a group tour, rent a car or take the bus. I opted for the private tour option with Vibe Adventures and that was really the best decision for me as a solo traveler. Silvia and Jorge, my Vibe Adventures guides scheduled the entire day according to what I wanted."

awesome!
We went on a private tour with these guys to Grutas Tolantongo and it was the most fun experience we had in our whole stay in Mexico City. Our guide was Edgardo and the driver was George. They also took us to a bunch of local places (not tourist stops) and we had a great time trying out local flavors like tamales, pastes, pulque, xoconestle liquor, etc, and experienced the typical life of the locals. I highly recommend these guys for your tours. They are fun to talk to, great energy, and they speak Spanish and English.

great tour guide
Diana was a great tour guide! She was so accommodating & let us stop wherever we asked, even stopped for mangos on the car ride home! She knew excellent english & provided us with alot of information about the culture there. Beautiful place to visit & a must see if in Mexico City. We were hesitant about the long journey in one day but so worth it. The river and waterfalls were an even better experience then the hot springs but both were equally great. Highly recommend!
