Our Wonderful tour with Andres is highly recommended
Andres was an excellent tour guide. Being a historian, he is very knowledgeable about both art and architecture. We couldn't have been happier with this tour.

Very informative
The Museum of Anthropology is massive and you could spend an entire day there. This tour was helpful to walk quickly through the halls and touch upon the highlights. It was really useful to have English explanations of what we were seeing

Myra did an excellent job of explaining all the history at the anthology museum in Mexico City - this was after I had to cancel due to a family emergency that got solved quickly and then she came back to our hotel and we all walked to museum on a perfect day - She saved the day to say the least !

The Kayak tour for sunrise over the Xochimilco fields, canals and mountains was truly magical! The best thing you could do at 3 in the morning 😄 Dress warm and bring a towel to keep your butt dry and book the extra breakfast option to enjoy a great meal with coffee/coco bread, fruits and a hearty portion of chilaquiles. We had a group of really fun people and Frida was an amazing guide! She made sure everybody was always feeling great and also told us a lot about the nature and the Axolotls living in the waters. When sunrise came we were at a portion of the canal with optimal view and she made sure everybody had a good spot. After breakfast one of the kayak guides even hopped in an Axolotl costume for a birthday celebration 😂 it was an amazing day/night and I can just recommend it to everybody

Ariadna was so knowledgeable.
Ariadna was amazing. Her kmowledge was on the university professor level but she kept her info light and fun. She also taylored our tour to my needs — I am a senior and need breaks. I came away with so much more info and knowledge about the anthropology museum and the Chapultepec Castle than I would have gotten on my own. Plus, I feel that I made a new friend with Ariadna.

LOVED MEXICO CITY
AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!!!! I just returned from a 3-day private tour in Mexico City and can honestly say Sal is one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had—an absolute 10/10.He went above and beyond every step of the way. Sal is incredibly passionate about Mexican culture, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He was patient with all of our questions and kept each day engaging and fun.We visited all the major highlights of the city, but what really stood out was his ability to time everything perfectly—he knew how to avoid the crowds, making our time much more efficient and enjoyable. If you're visiting Mexico City and want a truly exceptional experience, I can’t recommend Sal highly enough. Don’t miss the chance to tour with him!

Lucha Libre, tacos, and Teotihuacan!
This was SUCH a fun tour! I went with my husband and two teenagers and we had a blast. We were picked up by Diego at our hotel and our first stop was for tacos. Diego ordered us a bunch of different kinds so we could try everything. Delicious. Then we walked to a bar where we tried pulque- not our thing but glad for the experience. We had some time before the Lucha show so Diego walked us around the sites and told us about the history of the structures. That was a welcome bonus. Then we walked over to the show and it was quite an experience!! So much fun, I highly recommend it!Diego was also our guide for our day trip to Teotihuacan the next day which was great. He has so much knowledge about Mexican culture and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend both tours as well as Diego!

I did the Mezcal and Mariachi Tour and it was great. Definitely recommend this tour as you get to experience the traditional and the modern drinking holes and drinks while listening to some great local music. Ari was extremely knowledgeable, very entertaining to be with and great because she would understand what I am looking for. A night you will not forget in Mexico City.

We had the best trip around the Tulum/Coba area. Our guide, Neftali, was so much fun and also extremely knowledgable about the history of the areas we visited. You can really tell that this is his passion. We did so much in one day but it didn't feel exhausting at all because everything was already taken care for us. We talked about how amazing our excursion was for the rest of the trip!!! Highly recommend.

We had an awesome bike tour with Andres! We got to see a tremendous amount of the city in what was a relatively short time. He is a historian and so was obviously super knowledgeable. He showed us a number of city highlights but also did a great job personalizing our experience to tell us more about the people/culture of the city today. He also had tons of recommendations of things to do in our own time, it was apparent he really loves the city!

The tour to Teotihuacan became more special with the guidance of Salvador. He is an excellent guide, friendly, well informed and very professional. He avoided the crowds on a long weekend sunny Sunday by altering the usual order of the visit to the site. It would have been very difficult to navigate the site on my own without him. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about Mexican history and provides an excellent service. That said, this tour is unmissable. Wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen, sun glasses, hat/cap and enjoy the buildings and mithology of a highly advanced Mesoamerican civilization. Impressive and humbling.

We booked a tour through Vibe Adventures via the Get Your Guide app to visit a Monarch Butterfly sanctuary. They coordinated with us to pick us up at our hotel in Mexico City and utilized a private driver to take us to the sanctuary. Once there, we were able to experience one of the last groups of Monarchs before they migrate North. Our guide Diego was fantastic and very knowledgeable! We had a great lunch in nearby Angangueo and learned about the town's history as well. Overall, we were very pleased with our tour and would recommend the experience to everyone!

We loved our tour of Sierra Chuincua Butterfly Sanctuary. We rode horses up the mountain a bit then walked further into the butterflies. 100% amazing sites. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much. Peaceful, beautiful, almost sacred experience. Diego was great at answering our questions, but also letting us enjoy the views. We were lucky that in mid-March we caught so much butterfly action. On our way out we shopped the little market and Diego was so helpful mediating/helping us communicate with our very minimal Spanish.
Only downside: the car. It was 3 hours from our hotel in Mexico City. There were 3 of us, plus Diego the tour guide and a driver - so 5 people. The car we were in was for 4 people (as in, no seatbelt or headrest for the middle person). Too small for 5. We were jammed into that backseat so tight - for 6 hours. Not comfortable.

Great way to see and learn the city
The tour was fantastic. It felt like a walk through time learning of how the architecture and city changed through the buildings. The tour guide was informative and caring. Its a lot of walking so great exercise at the same time.

I went on the Monarch Butterfly tour to El Rosario. My tour guide, Andres, and my driver, Guillermo, were perfect gentlemen and I had a wonderful trip. Andres was full of information about the butterflies, the indigenous people of Mexico, and the history of the region. I could not have had a more perfect time.

Guide and driver amazing (as were butterflies). Communication with company before hand so-so
We went on the butterfly tour the first week of March 2025 and it was incredible! Our tour guide was Irazú (Zu) and she met our every need and then some! Superb attention to detail from Zu who give us tips and recommendations every step of the way that made things that much more enjoyable and inspiring. (We were fast friends by the end of the day. Also she offers to take pictures of you and your group in key places which is a nice touch). She also has a wealth of knowledge on lots of subjects, and elegantly transitioned between English and Spanish all day long to meet the needs of our group. Roberto was our driver, also a great person, and anamazing driver (its a LONG day and I admire the stamina and skills on all kinds of roads). So a few things you should know: Vibe Adventures offices were ok but not great at communicating with us before hand. We asked about if there was time for breakfast and lunch stops built in and the company said we should bring our own food to not reduce our time at reserve. However there was sit down food stands and cafes at the trailhead and restaurants in Angangueo town so the food we packed was a waste. The local food is excellent withsome tasty regional things you can't get elsewhere, and honestly faster than trying to picnic. We were annoyed to have spent the day before grocery shopping only to not end up eating food we brought with us before our international flight the next day. Bad messaging Vibe Adventures. Also the site and sanctuary you will see butterflies may change on a somewhat regular basis depending on the butterflies (they are wild animals that fly afterall) so the hike you will take might be different from ours. The good news is the company and tour guides will be up to dste on where the butterflies are to be found that day and a local sanctuary guide will be even more knowledgeable on the details. You will be in good hands as far as butterfly viewing experience. If you can go a weekday that's better as the sanctuaries get lots more tourists on the weekend. That said expect elevation gain to wear good hiking shoes or athletic shoes (we did, but again that could have been better communicated by Vibe Adventures). Finally prepare for the excursion to potentially (likely?) be longer than the 12 hours as there is a LOT you may want to see and do and the drive there and back is long and traffic dependant. Good luck and enjoy this lovely day, its worth it!!!! (in terms of time, $, and effort!)

Adriana Gómez is a Fenomenal tour guide
Adriana Gómez made our trip memorable. She is exceptional. Her knowledge of the history of Mexico, its landmarks its art, current events is first class. She thoroughly explained everting in detail with passion. She is a walking encyclopedia. I highly recommend her. The murals came alive with her explanations. She is a gem.
