Day 1: Mexico City

In the evening, you’ll meet your group and Tour Leader for a welcome dinner. Day 2: Mexico City

Day 4: Grutas de Tolantongo – Zimapán Dam – Zimapán
After breakfast and a morning bath in the thermal waters of Grutas de Tolantongo, head to Zimapan Dam, a remarkable feat of Mexican engineering offering stunning landscapes.
Enjoy an optional lunch at a local family restaurant, where you can taste delicious local fish. Next, embark on a boat tour to explore the river, marveling at the towering stone walls that rise over 650 feet high.
Afterward, visit the “Magic Town” of Zimapan, known for its breathtaking scenery. Explore the charming town with an orientation walk before heading to your accommodation.

Day 5: Zimapán – Los Mármoles National Park – Xilitla

Next, visit the ruins of the foundry where parts of the Eiffel Tower were forged. Then, hike to the “Magnet Stone”, a Lodestone boulder with magnetic properties, offering stunning valley views.

After the day’s adventures, we’ll head to eco-cabins near Micos Waterfalls for accommodation. Enjoy a delicious dinner and get-together with the group to share memories from the day. Day 8: Micos Waterfalls – Tamtoc Archeological Zone – Tampico

This recently opened archaeological site offers a glimpse into the rich history of the Huastec civilization, with its well-preserved structures and fascinating stories.
Next, we’ll travel to Tampico, a historic port city known for its diverse architectural styles that create a unique and vibrant urban landscape. As we explore the city, you’ll notice the blend of neoclassical, Art Deco, and colonial influences, making it a photographer’s dream.
Upon arrival, check-in to your accommodation and enjoy an orientation walk through Tampico’s historic center. Take in the sights, sounds, and history of this charming city. In the evening, we’ll gather for an optional farewell dinner where we can reflect on the incredible experiences we’ve shared throughout the tour. The day will end with a get-together to celebrate the friendships and memories made along the way.
