Itinerary
Begin the Tour Grutas de Tolantongo by meeting your guide at your accommodation and head directly to the magical Grutas de Tolantongo, located in Hidalgo, a state famous for its beautiful natural attractions. I recently went on a day trip from Mexico City to the Grutas de Tolantongo with Vibe. They called me the night before to confirm the pickup location and time and also ensured I knew what to bring and expect. Sal, my guide, arrived on the dot and was great company during the nearly 4 hour drive. He showed us to the best locations at the site and gave my daughter and me space and time to enjoy the location together. Because this was a private tour, our pick up and departure times were flexible which was really nice. On the way back, we stopped at a local shop to enjoy some pulque. Great experience.
