Itinerary
Get ready for Semana Santa in Mexico! Your day begins with a ride to Cuernavaca, the “City of Eternal Spring.” Upon arrival, explore its heart with a guided walk through the historic Plaza de Armas, where centuries of history unfold.
Next, visit a grand 16th-century fortress built by the Spanish conquerors, now home to fascinating exhibits that reveal Mexico’s past. You’ll find vivid murals by Diego Rivera, telling interesting stories of revolution, resilience, and culture.
Then, head to Taxco, a town known for silver, winding cobblestone streets, and stunning colonial architecture. Stroll through its historic center, where every corner reveals a new story.
As the evening approaches, witness the deeply moving Good Friday processions. Hooded penitents walk solemnly through the streets, carrying heavy crosses and reenacting the Passion of Christ at the Ex-Convent of San Bernardino de Siena, a powerful display of faith and tradition.
Prepare to head back to Mexico City, you’ll have the chance to dream about the adventures made in your memory.
