In the morning, meet your driver at your accommodation in Riviera Maya and head to Casa Cenote. Ideal for fans of underwater life, this long, narrow cenote is famous for myriads of little (guppies, platys, and mollies) and bigger fish (tarpans particularly) which you can see when swimming between its mangrove roots and rocks.

Once there, receive a safety and diving theory briefing from an experienced certified instructor onshore. Afterward, once ready and under the supervision of your dive master, do your first shallow-water submersion to familiarize yourself with this new environment. As soon as you feel comfortable, start exploring the cenote little by little (up to 12 m deep, about 30 minutes) under the careful supervision of your instructor. On your dive into cenote’s crystal-clear emerald waters, explore a series of outstandingly beautiful natural caves hidden in the jungle, and see the play of light on the roots of mangrove forest, and huge rocks covered with mosses and green algae that decorate the bottom. This dive will definitely leave you with unique memories.

After a restful break and an optional lunch, gear up for an exhilarating diving experience near the shore. With expert guidance, delve into the azure depths, encountering vibrant coral formations and an array of marine life. This dive invites you to be part of the delicate underwater ecosystem, connecting you to the mesmerizing world beneath the waves.

Entrance to cenote; diving equipment and 2x oxigen tanks (up to 45 min of diving each): 1x tank for safety and diving theory briefing, shallow-water practice, and diving in a cenote; and 1x tank for an open-water reef diving. Optional upgrade (please inquire in advance) includes an official SSI Open Water Diver certification (needs at least 1 extra day).
