Begin your Hacienda Tour with an exciting morning adventure, as we head towards the Ex-Hacienda Chautla in Puebla, watch the scenery transform before your eyes, with mountains, forests, plains, and volcanoes passing by, offering a beautiful visual tapestry that showcases the diversity of Mexico’s landscapes.
Upon arriving at Ex-Hacienda Chautla, step into a world of tranquility. Roam along the peaceful forest trails nestled in the beautiful English-style gardens, where you dive into the estate’s natural beauty and serenity. These lush gardens, with their beautiful flowers and towering trees, create an atmosphere of peace and wonder.
Next, make your way to the Gillow Castle, in the middle of an artificial lake. This 19th-century castle, with its striking architecture and history, invites you to explore its elegant interiors and experience how life was 100 years ago. As you wander through its halls, you’ll get a sense of the grandeur and charm that marked the era of 19th-century aristocracy, complete with its unique historical significance.
After soaking in Chautla’s beauty, we head to a local farm, where you’ll discover the fascinating process of essential oil extraction from aromatic plants such as lavender, rosemary, and pine. This is a truly unique experience, where you’ll witness the craftsmanship behind the oils carefully produced in harmony with the land. 1. Adjust the starting time of the tour.
2. Adjust the time you spend at each destination of the tour.
3. Add extra places of your choice (e.g. attractions, restaurants, etc.) to the itinerary on a complimentary basis if those visits.
