Itinerary
The Guelaguetza Festival will take you on an exploration of its vibrant culture, streets, and markets. We’ll take you through plazas, historic buildings, local legends, and of course the fascinating world of Oaxaca.
First, we’ll take you to a food and craft market, where you’ll find all kind of goods and traditional produce. Taste some of the delicious typical food and drinks, learn about the process of chocolate, sip some mezcal, and walk through the iconic corridor of smoke. We’ll be there for you to help you with any questions you have.
Our next stop is the Santo Domingo Church, one of the most celebrated and famous in Oaxaca and the country. Later, we’ll have a lunch break.
After, we’ll take you to La Cosecha Market. Here, you’ll have a good time with the open air and clean ambiance, and you can eat the most delicious dishes from different regions.
Finally, we’ll go to a nearby community and dive into the Guelaguetza Festival, there, you’ll have fun dancing, admiring the textiles, or just watching the event.
