Itinerary
The Gran Cenote Tour starts from downtown Tulum. We’ll bike to the famous Grand Cenote, a stunning spot for snorkeling with its cave, underground river, open sections, and resident turtles. We make sure to get there early to avoid the crowds and fully appreciate its beauty.
Ride 4 km of forest trail around Tulum, away from the roads and into the trees, with the possibility of spotting jungle wildlife. Stop for a homemade brunch at an exclusive jungle oasis, a hidden guesthouse, and enjoy fresh fruit, coffee, gourmet sandwiches, and juice in a tranquil environment.
After brunch, next up is Cenote Cristal, an open cenote surrounded by lush vegetation with a perfect platform for jumps and divers entering the cave system. Then, a short trip will bring you to Escondido, a quiet cenote that’s great for snorkeling and features fish, underwater vegetation, and hidden caves.
Led by expert guides, this is an opportunity to have an active adventure around Tulum, stopping to swim, snorkel and have a whole lot of fun while riding quality bikes through the jungle. Also, learn a lot about the local environment and how the cenotes formed, as well as their importance throughout the millennia to all the residents of the Yucatan Peninsula.
