Itinerary
Join us on our Chocolate Tour Mexico City! Where history, flavor, and tradition come together most deliciously! This experience is perfect for food lovers, history buffs, and anyone curious about the origins of chocolate and its place in Mexican culture.
We begin our adventure by meeting your guide at a local chocolate museum, where the story of chocolate unfolds before your eyes. Learn about cacao’s sacred role in pre-Hispanic civilizations, how it was used in rituals and trade, and how it evolved into the chocolate we know today. Through engaging exhibits, hands-on experiences, and tastings, you’ll discover the rich legacy of this beloved delicacy, born in Mexico and shared with the world.
Next, we’ll walk to a cozy café, where you’ll be treated to a cup of Mexican coffee enhanced with a touch of local honey. This honey is from a region renowned for its beekeeping traditions and natural landscapes. Alongside your coffee, enjoy a soft and flavorful slice of freshly baked regional bread, reflecting the comforting simplicity of Mexican home kitchens.
As we stroll through the historic streets, we’ll pop into a classic bakery to pick up some hojaldras and empanadas, then make our way to a hidden gem on the 8th floor of a nearby building. Here, you’ll enjoy stunning views and have the chance to try a traditional Mexican drink before deciding if you want to linger and soak in the atmosphere or continue exploring on your own.
As we stroll through historic streets, we’ll visit a classic panadería to pick up hojaldras, empanadas, and other baked treasures. Our final stop is a hidden gem on the 8th floor of a nearby building, an intimate space with stunning city views. Here, you can sip a traditional Mexican beverage, relax in a cozy setting, and linger or continue exploring at your own pace.
This tour is more than chocolate tastes Mexico City’s soul. Come hungry for sweets and stories!
