Reviews
It was a great trip , absolutely “ must visit”. Our guide Cesar was amazing, he told us a lot of interesting information. Highly recommend this trip.
We had a great day with Niko- he was very interesting and engaging explaining chitzen Itza to us, and then we had a fantastic lunch and trip to cenotes. Nothing was too much trouble and was a wonderful experience
We had an amazing day with our guide, Alondra! She was really fun and knowledgable! We learned so much about the history of Mayan culture, Muyil, and Sian Ka'an. We loved getting picked up at our Air BnB and the delicious homemade vegetarian food that she offered. We had an amazing float through the mangroves where we saw white egrets and a blue heron and literally the most gorgeous sky that was truly the Gates of Heaven. One of our most memorable days in Tulum and we will book more tours with Alondra in the future!
I went on the Muyil and Sian Ka'an tour with Mexico Kan Tours in October and can only highly recommend it! I was travelling through Mexico for almost 4 weeks and this tour was definitely the highlight of it!Everything was perfectly organized, pick up was punctual, staff was incredibly friendly and explaining us a lot about the site and the history of it. And the area is just beautiful, an experience I'll never forget. Many thanks for that day!
Our trip was incredible, and our guide Cesar made it unforgettable by truly explaining every little detail. The tour was small so we could see the sites and the details in such a small window. Getting to Chichen Itza early was crucial. The cenote was amazing and very quiet. All in all a life changing trip made possible by Cesar.Oscar the driver was also crucial in enabling the trip to go smoothly
Favorite day of our vacation. Definitely a great half day tour for a nature lover! It was a great escape from resort life and a day I’ll always remember ! Our guide Claudio was so kind and essential for finding and identifying birds. He was knowledgeable the birds, nature in general and Mayan history. He was very patient with helping us fully see birds and used a pointer when needed. I am very grateful I got to see both the collared aracari and Pygmy-owl I wanted to see. I also greatly appreciated him sharing his eBird list so I could just enjoy the birds without worrying about taking notes. I am more into birding than my husband and am fairly new to it myself. I liked being able sit down before the tour and have some fruit and granola bars with tea/coffee and share more about ourselves - including our birding levels and also if we had any birds we really wanted to see. This helped clear expectations for the day and get us oriented. Half way through the morning we sat down for a more substantial breakfast (eggs, rice, beans, tortilla) and fresh smoothies which was good and gave us energy to complete the day. Other notes- -I was more interested in the nature part of the tour but the ruins were a wonderful added bonus. -It was a very early start of the day because we were all the way in Cancun but pick up was easy and smooth and definitely worth the trip. -Physically I think most people with any level of fitness can do this tour. The guide will go to your pace. There are some uneven parts and a board walk you need to be mindful on, but it is a nature reserve so this should be expected. -I appreciated little eco friendly aspects like having purified water to refill my water bottle.
It was perfect ! We saw 3 cenotes, all different but each very interesting. Fernando as our guide knew a lot, was very funny and very entertaining together with our driver Carlos. All in all it was a very nice experience and a great little adventure
Perfect Take this tour Cesar was amazing and he knew all the information If we can change a throng probably we can spend more time in valladolid,
My wife and did the whole day trip to Coba Ruins, followed by Punta Laguna, Mayan village and Cenote swim. We were promptly picked up from our hotel at the agreed time. Marco was our guide and he was first class from start to finish. At Coba, we cycled across the whole site and Marco talked us through the history and theories of ruins. His knowledge and passion were obvious, which made our learning easier and more enjoyable. We saw Spider monkeys in the trees and many different birds. Marco's knowledge of wildlife was equally as impressive. From here we went to Punta Laguna, where we canoed across a lake, walked through the jungle and saw both Spider and Howler monkeys and then zip-lined across the lake. Following this, we visited a Mayan village/nature reserve and had lunch (which was delicious). Finally, we ended the day in the emerald Cenote for a well deserved swim. The whole experience was amazing. Mexico Kan Tours was a little more expensive than some of the others, but we felt it was far more professional and offered things like the bicycles at Coba, which were nice little touches. Also, Marco made the trip that extra bit special and I'd highly recommend booking them for any tour you're considering. We'll definitely be back for a tour next time. Thanks again!
