Itinerary
Your day begins as you meet your private guide and depart Mexico City for one of the region’s carnival towns. As we drive through the valleys and volcanic landscapes of Central Mexico, your guide will share the history behind these celebrations, which blend Indigenous customs, colonial influences, and centuries of community identity.
Upon arrival, you’ll step into streets bursting with energy—colorful masks, hand-embroidered costumes, and troupes of dancers performing traditional steps handed down through generations. Depending on the town we visit, you may see Chinelos dancing in Morelos-style festivals, masked cuadrillas performing comedic reenactments, or vibrant parades honoring local patron saints with drums, brass bands, fireworks, and joyful crowds.
