Day 1: Belize City
Start the tour in Belize City, the historical capital of the nation with its beautiful colonial houses and porticos, seaside parks, bustling shopping areas, and sailboats that bob at the mouth of Haulover Creek. Arrive at the airport anytime and take an independent transfer to your accommodation. Once there, take your time to rest or explore the town. In the evening join your Tour Leader for a welcome meeting followed by an optional get-together with the rest of the group in one of the local restaurants.

Day 2: Belize City - Community Baboon Sanctuary - Altun Ha - Tower Hill
In the morning, start the Belize tour getting to know the main attractions of its capital. Then, take a black howler monkey tour in the Community Baboon Sanctuary. Live in harmony with nature and have a memorable encounter with these primates. After that, visit the ruins of Altun Ha, an important Mayan ceremonial center. Then, transfer to Tower Hill, a peaceful village on the bank of New River known as a gate to nearby Lamanai Ruins. Once there, take your time to relax before joining the rest of the group and your Tour Leader for an orientation walk of the area.

Day 3: Tower Hill - Lamanai Archaeological Site - Belmopán
In the morning, enjoy a guided visit to the Lamanai Archeological Site, a magical place that was once a major city of the Maya civilization. After that, head to Guanacaste National Park, an ideal place for nature and wildlife enthusiasts. Discover its flora and fauna with your Tour Leader and opt to swim in the refreshing waters of the Roaring River before going to Belmopan. Join your Tour Leader and the rest of your group for an orientation walk of the city. Get together with your group to take a Nocturnal Zoo Tour in the evening.

Day 4: Belmopán - Barton Creek Cave Reserve - San Ignacio
Continue your Belize Tour to Barton Creek Cave Reserve known as both an archaeological site and a tourist destination. Once there, take a tour with a local guide and opt for optional activities like ziplining and rock climbing. After that, continue on to the impressive Big Rock Waterfalls. This is the perfect swimming spot if you enjoy adventures. Later, visit the spectacular Rio On Pools to take in the scenery. Explore the area and swim in the freshwater of one of the natural pool formations.

Day 5: San Ignacio - Xunantunich - Placencia
In the morning, join your Tour Leader for a market tour in San Ignacio, then go to Xunantunich, Mayan ruins with the second-tallest pyramid in Belize. Afterward, transfer to paradisiacal Placencia in the afternoon. Free time, optional get-together, and dinner with your group in one of the local restaurants in the evening.

Day 6: Placencia - Mayan King Waterfalls - Hopkins
In the morning, enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the local beach before going to the enigmatic Mayan King Waterfalls, and continue discovering Belizean nature. Once in the friendly coastal village of Hopkins take an orientation walk with your Tour Leader and join the drumming lesson with the local Garifuna community. Free time, optional get-together, and dinner with your group in one of the local restaurants in the evening.

Day 7: Hopkins - Dangriga - St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park - Caye Caulker
In the morning, visit a legendary spicy sauce factory in Dangriga and head to St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park. Once there, discover St. Herman’s Cave and the Blue Hole, the perfect place for a refreshing afternoon swim formed by the collapse of an underground limestone cave. In the afternoon, take a water taxi to Caye Caulker, a long thin limestone caye inhabited by less than 2,000 people, famous for its car-free policy, sensational seafood as well as snorkeling and boating along the nearby Belize Barrier Reef.

Day 8: Caye Caulker

There you will be able to see from a short distance and swim with numerous underwater species such as nurse sharks, rays, groupers, porcupine fish, and seahorses, to name a few. In the evening, join an optional farewell dinner with your group at a popular local restaurant.

Day 9: Caye Caulker
Last day of the tour. From Caye Caulker, you can get to Belize City International Airport in about 1,5 h: ~45 min by water taxi to Belize City (departures between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm) and an additional 30 min by taxi to the airport.
