As you take in the sheer scale of the architectural wonders, your imagination will soar, and you’ll be transported back in time to an era when these grand structures were not just marvels of engineering but centers of rituals, astronomy, and spirituality. Here, we will participate in a temazcal ceremony, an ancient Mesoamerican purification ritual that has been passed down through generations. A temazcal is a traditional steam bath, used for both physical and spiritual renewal.
Step into the dark, steaming chambers, where the heat and humidity will envelop you, and feel the therapeutic benefits of the warm steam as it cleanses your body and mind. The ceremony is guided by a shaman or experienced practitioner who will lead you through this ancient ritual, invoking elements of fire, water, earth, and air to restore balance to your body, mind, and spirit.
