Itinerary
Your Mexico City Tour begins at the foundation of it all: the Templo Mayor. Here, we’ll see the archaeological remains of the ancient Aztec capital, Tenochtitlan, and learn how this sacred site was rediscovered in the heart of the modern city. Just steps away, we’ll enter the Metropolitan Cathedral, a colossal stone monument that symbolizes the transition from the pre-Hispanic era to the Spanish colonial period.
The journey continues toward the Mexico City Zocalo, one of the largest public squares in the world. As we walk through the Historic Center of Mexico City, we will admire the famous House of Tiles, an 18th-century baroque mansion with a unique blue-and-white porcelain façade that hides secrets of the Mexican Revolution.
We’ll then visit the Palacio de Correos (Postal Palace), a breathtaking example of “Plateresque” and Italian Renaissance architecture. Finally, our Mexico City Tour culminates at the Palace of Fine Arts (Palacio de Bellas Artes). This stunning marble monument is not only an architectural icon but also a sanctuary for Mexico’s greatest murals. Experience the vibrant energy of the streets, from artisanal markets to traditional food stalls, as we navigate the layers of history that make this city a living museum.
