Itinerary
Get ready for the Scuba Diving Tulum! First, we’ll head to Casa Cenote, one of the region’s most unique and beautiful cenotes, ideal for both beginners and those who love underwater life. This long, narrow cenote is famous for its clear waters and its incredible biodiversity, offering a rare opportunity to observe a variety of fish species, from tiny guppies, platys, and mollies to larger fish like tarpans. Swim between the mangrove roots and rocks and dive into the tranquil beauty of this natural wonder.
Upon arrival, you’ll receive a safety and diving theory briefing from a certified instructor. This essential introduction ensures you understand the basic principles of scuba diving and the best practices for exploring the underwater world safely. After the briefing, your dive master will guide you through your first shallow-water submersion, designed to help you familiarize yourself with the gear and environment. During this introductory dive, you’ll gently explore the cenote at depths of up to 12 meters (about 39 feet) for about 30 minutes, gradually building your comfort level underwater.
As you begin your exploration, you’ll be surrounded by the cenote’s crystal-clear emerald waters. The scene is nothing short of breathtaking, with hidden caves, lush jungle foliage, and dramatic mangrove roots illuminated by beams of light filtering through the water. The surface is covered in mosses and green algae, creating a soft, colorful contrast against the dark rocks.
