Itinerary
The Tacuba Street is America’s oldest road, built in the 14th century and located in the heart of the historic center of Mexico City. Tacuba (formerly called “Tlacopan”) was one of the original avenues that connected the Aztecs’ capital city Mexico-Tenochtitlan, an island, to the mainland. Since then it has been used consistently and is even mentioned in some of the first dispatches from Spanish colonizers. As a result, this street has been a location of both happy and sad historical events and has been witness to the daily life activities of its inhabitants for centuries. Connect to your expert host live and hear the incredible history of this monumental street!
