The Day of Dead Festival (Dia De Los Muertos) is a two-day holiday that reunites the living and dead. Families create ofrendas (Offerings) to honor their family members who have passed. You’ll watch the Reforma avenue full of colorful costumes and elegant catrinas as well as beautiful ofrendas, learning about the meaning of each element and their significance. We’ll tell you the history of Dia de Muertos, exploring how this two-day celebration reunites the living and the dead. Finally, we’ll showcase traditional foods enjoyed during the festival, like pan de muerto and sugar skulls.
