Understanding the ongoing uncertainty associated with COVID-19 restrictions, Vibe Adventures introduced more flexibility to our standard booking terms.
1-day tours
If you have to cancel
All our 1-day tours have free cancellation up to 48 hours* before the departure with the following refund options:
- Move your booking to a new date.
- Transfer the total amount paid to an account credit (voucher) you may use for any future bookings with us with no expiry date.
- Receive a full refund less unrecoverable costs (10%: transaction and administrative costs).
* Notes: This does not apply to non-refundable tours that involve prepayment of activities (e.g. applicable but not limited to the entrance to Frida Kahlo Museum, ATV tours, rafting, paragliding, and hot air balloon flights). Partial refunds related to the changes in your group size, itinerary, or tour duration are also not applicable. Cancelation requests should be sent via email by replying to your booking confirmation email.

If we must cancel a tour due to government-issued COVID-19 restrictions, we will offer you 2 options:
- Move your booking to a new date.
- Transfer the total amount paid to an account credit (voucher) you may use for any future bookings with us with no expiry date.
Multi-day tours
Our criteria for confirming trips
Coming from all over the world, our travelers face different restrictions, depending on where they live. We want as many adventures to depart as possible, but trips will only take place if:
- The minimum group size has been met.
- There are no quarantine restrictions upon arrival at the destination.
We will confirm if your trip can go ahead 35 days before departure at the very latest.
Our COVID refund guarantee
If Vibe Adventures cancels your trip at any time up to the day of departure you will be offered the option to:
- Move your booking to a new date.
- Please transfer the total amount paid to an account credit (voucher) you may use for any future bookings with us with no expiry date.
- Receive a full refund.
Suppose your trip is going ahead but you must cancel due to COVID-19 restrictions. In that case, we agree to waive our standard cancellation terms and offer you the option to move to a new date, convert to account credit, or get a full refund less unrecoverable costs if:
- You are prevented from traveling due to a national lockdown that prohibits flights from your home country.
- You are prevented from traveling due to quarantine requirements on your return to your home country.
In both cases, you need to notify us in writing of your intention not to join the trip within 3 calendar days of those travel restrictions being announced.
What our COVID refund guarantee does NOT cover
Your standard cancellation terms will apply if you need to cancel your trip for the following reasons:
- You or a family member is diagnosed with COVID and you are required to self-isolate, which prevents you from traveling.
- A close relative is diagnosed with COVID and you are required to care for them.
- You are denied boarding your flight due to failing COVID checks.
- You cannot join your trip due to not fully complying with the testing or vaccination requirements to enter the destination country.
- You wish to cancel due to quarantine requirements upon return which have been in place for more than 3 days.
FAQs
How do I cancel? If you wish to make any changes to your booking (including refund requests), please get in touch with logistics@vibeadventures.com and we will be more than happy to assist.
How long does it take to get a refund? Up to 7 business days.
What if I booked with an agency? If you booked through a travel agent or travel advisor, please contact them directly to discuss your options based on their current policy. Note that the above conditions apply only to the tours booked with us, and do not include visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, or flights.
Insurance included? No. We recommend customers take out travel insurance with specific COVID cancellation and curtailment provisions which are now available from many reputable providers.
