Join us on an exciting Coba Tour! That will take you deep into the heart of the Mayan world, uncovering the secrets of a civilization that once thrived along the Yucatán Peninsula. Your journey begins in Tulum, where you’ll explore the ancient archaeological zone perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Be dazzled at the well-preserved structures, including the Temple of the Wind God, the castle, and the wall encircles the site. As you walk along the ceremonial pathways, you’ll be transported back to when this coastal city served as a significant trading port for the Maya. Afterward, soak in the sun and relax on the pristine white-sand beach, allowing the waves to wash over you and the beautiful colors of the Caribbean to mesmerize you.
Next, we journey into the heart of the jungle to explore Coba, an ancient Mayan city still shrouded in mystery and intrigue. As you walk along its ceremonial avenues, you’ll feel the spirit of the past in the air. Climb the Nohoch Mul pyramid, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatán, and be rewarded with panoramic views of the lush, dense jungle that stretches out for miles. The feeling of standing atop this ancient wonder is awe-inspiring, as it allows you to connect with a time long past. Many undiscovered ruins still lie buried beneath the roots and vines of the jungle, creating an atmosphere filled with adventure and mystery.
After a delicious Yucatán-style lunch, we venture to Cenote Tankach-ha, a hidden gem named “Deep Water” in Maya. This natural sinkhole is 35 meters deep (114 ft) and is surrounded by incredible cliffs, creating a magical atmosphere. Whether you choose to dive from multiple jumping platforms or swim in crystal-clear waters, this cenote will leave you in awe of its natural beauty and tranquility.
But our journey doesn’t end there! Dive into the rich Mayan culture at a local open-air museum to witness firsthand the traditions of the Indigenous people. A local guide will take you through the village and explain pottery-making, ancient culinary practices, hunting, healing remedies, and much more!
