Prepare for the Temazcal Teotihuacan! As we head on this journey, our first stop is one of the most iconic sites in Mexico—the majestic Teotihuacan pyramids. Once home to a mighty civilization, this ancient city has long captivated visitors with its mystical and awe-inspiring structures. The towering Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon are monumental reminders of the Teotihuacan civilization’s achievements.
As we explore the pyramids and wander the Avenue of the Dead, you’ll walk in the footsteps of the ancients, unraveling the secrets of a city that was once one of the largest and most influential in Mesoamerica. As you take in the sheer scale of the architectural wonders, your imagination will soar, and you’ll be transported back in time to an era when these grand structures were not just marvels of engineering but centers of rituals, astronomy, and spirituality. Your guide will share insights into the mysteries of Teotihuacan, offering explanations about the symbolism, artifacts, and the cultural significance of the site, helping you connect with the rich history that surrounds you.
But that’s just the beginning of this incredible day! After diving into in the ancient wonders of Teotihuacan, we will continue to a local community, where a truly rejuvenating experience awaits. Here, we will participate in a temazcal ceremony, an ancient Mesoamerican purification ritual that has been passed down through generations. A temazcal is a traditional steam bath, used for both physical and spiritual renewal.
Step into the dark, steaming chambers, where the heat and humidity will envelop you, and feel the therapeutic benefits of the warm steam as it cleanses your body and mind. The ceremony is guided by a shaman or experienced practitioner who will lead you through this ancient ritual, invoking elements of fire, water, earth, and air to restore balance to your body, mind, and spirit. During the ceremony, you’ll be encouraged to meditate, reflect, and release any physical or emotional toxins, allowing the heat to soothe your muscles and the steam to purify your spirit.
Combining Teotihuacan’s ancient energy, the temazcal ceremony, and the spiritual practices will leave you with a profound sense of renewal and connection to the land and its history. 2. Ajusta el tiempo que pasas en cada destino del recorrido.
3. Añadir lugares adicionales de su elección (por ejemplo, atracciones, restaurantes, etc.) al itinerario de forma gratuita si esas visitas.
(1) se ajusten a la duración predeterminada del recorrido, (2) no impliquen un cambio significativo de la ruta ni gastos adicionales (por ejemplo, entradas, peajes, aparcamiento, etc.).
Los cambios distintos de los mencionados conllevarán un recargo y deberán comunicarse al organizador del viaje al menos 72 horas antes del viaje (por ejemplo, en el campo "Requisitos especiales" durante la reserva o por correo electrónico).
Anulaciones
Ésta y la mayoría de nuestras excursiones de 1 día pueden cancelarse hasta el 48 horas antes de la salida (véase política de cancelación para más información).
