Itinerario
Day 1: Mexico City
Start your Cuernavaca Tour in Mexico City, a unique metropolis where ancient history and modern life seamlessly blend. Arrive at your accommodation at 2 pm to meet your group and Tour Leader. After a brief welcome meeting, we’ll head out for a walking tour through the historic center, where you’ll explore the city’s rich cultural heritage and charming streets.
Our next stop is the National Anthropology Museum, one of the most important museums in Mexico. Here, you’ll discover fascinating exhibits that showcase the country’s ancient civilizations, with collections that span from the Maya to the Aztecs.
After the museum visit, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and unwind before heading out for an optional dinner at a local restaurant. This will be a great chance to enjoy some delicious Mexican cuisine while getting to know your fellow travelers and reflecting on the day’s adventures.

Day 2: Lagunas de Zempoala National Park – Tepotztlán – Cuernavaca
Start your day with breakfast before heading to the stunning Lagunas de Zempoala National Park. This hidden natural gem offers seven beautiful lagoons nestled in a serene setting surrounded by hills and pine forests. Take a leisurely hike around the lakes, soaking in the breathtaking views and tranquility.
After your hike, enjoy some free time to explore and unwind. You can opt for a delicious lunch at a local spot before we continue our journey to Tepoztlán.
Tepoztlán, a “Magic Town”, is nestled at the foot of Tepozteco Mountain. This enchanting town is a fusion of ancient traditions, esoteric beliefs, and cultural treasures, creating a truly unique experience. Here, you’ll discover a blend of pre-Hispanic, vice-regal, and modern influences, all surrounded by stunning natural beauty.
We’ll take a walking tour through the historic center, visiting the Dominican Church, its adjoining monastery, and the bustling traditional market, where you can find local crafts and flavors.
In the late afternoon, we’ll head to Cuernavaca, a city known for its pleasant climate and colonial charm.

Day 3: Cuernavaca – Xochicalco – Las Estacas Parque Natural – Tlayacapan
In the morning, head to Xochicalco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the 4th most visited pre-Hispanic archaeological site in Mexico. Explore this fascinating location, filled with stunning ruins and ancient history that will transport you back in time.
Next, we continue to Las Estacas Parque Natural, one of Morelos’ most beautiful natural attractions. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the park’s crystal-clear waters, snorkel, swim, or simply relax amidst the tranquil surroundings.
After a fun-filled day in the park, we’ll travel to the “Magic Town” of Tlayacapan, a charming town where time seems to stand still. Explore the Former Convent of San Juan Bautista, a historical site known for its magnificent carved murals. The walls of the convent seem to form a celestial vault that encases the recently discovered mummies, adding to the site’s mystique.
In the evening, join a walking tour through the town, soaking in its beauty and history. Afterward, you can opt for a farewell dinner and get-together at one of the local restaurants or bars to reflect on the unforgettable experiences of the day.

On the last day of the Cuernavaca tour, enjoy a relaxing breakfast before checking out of your accommodation. We’ll begin our journey back to Mexico City, arriving around noon.
