Día 2: Ciudad de México
Comienza tu San Luis Potosi Tour by joining your group for a guided walk through the historic center of Mexico City. Explore the heart of the city, where ancient and modern elements blend harmoniously. Afterward, we’ll visit the renowned National Museum of Anthropology, home to invaluable artifacts from Mexico’s rich pre-Hispanic past.
In the afternoon, you’ll have the freedom to choose your own adventure. Whether you prefer to explore more museums, shop for local handicrafts, or enjoy the vibrant streets, your Tour Leader will be available to offer suggestions and make sure you make the most of your free time.

Day 3: Mexico City – Tula – Grutas de Tolantongo
In the morning, go to visit the archaeological zone of Tula – a major city of the ancient Toltec culture widely known for its fearsome 4.5m-high stone warrior figures. Afterward, go to enjoy thermal waters and admire the picturesque mountainous landscapes of Grutas de Tolantongo. Accommodation, optional dinner, and get-together with the rest of the group in Grutas de Tolantongo.

Day 4: Grutas de Tolantongo – Zimapán Dam – Zimapán
Start your day with a morning bath in the soothing thermal waters of Grutas de Tolantongo before heading to Zimapan Dam, a true marvel of Mexican engineering. Known for its breathtaking landscapes, this site promises to captivate you with its natural beauty. Upon arrival, enjoy an optional lunch at one of the charming family-owned restaurants, where you can try the local fish, fresh and flavorful.
After lunch, hop on a boat tour to navigate the river and take in the awe-inspiring views of shining stone walls, towering over 650 feet high. The river’s serene waters and stunning rock formations will leave you speechless.
Next, we’ll head to the “Magic Town” of Zimapan, where you can marvel at some of the most breathtaking scenery in the region. Enjoy an orientation walk through this quaint town, where history, culture, and nature come together.

Day 5: Zimapán – Los Mármoles National Park – Xilitla
After breakfast, we’ll head to Los Mármoles National Park, a stunning natural wonder nestled in the Sierra Madre Oriental mountains. Here, we’ll visit a local apple wine producer and sample their traditional wine, crafted by descendants of English settlers.
Next, we’ll explore the ruins of the foundry where parts of the Eiffel Tower were forged, before hiking to the “Magnet Stone”, a unique Lodestone boulder with magnetic properties, offering beautiful views of the surrounding valley.
Later, we’ll head to the “Magic Town” of Xilitla. After checking in, enjoy an orientation walk through the charming town. The evening will conclude with an optional dinner and a get-together with the group.

Day 6: Xilitla – Sotano De Las Huahuas – Aquismon
After breakfast, we head to Las Pozas, a surrealist sculpture garden created by English poet Edward James. Located deep in the jungle, the garden features towering sculptures and winding pathways that blend art with nature, offering a truly unique experience.
Next, we visit Sotano De Las Huahuas, a large open-air pit cave home to a variety of birds, including swifts and parakeets. Watch as they soar in and out of the cave, offering a spectacular natural sight.
In the afternoon, we head to the “Magical Town” of Aquismon, where you’ll have time to check in and enjoy an orientation walk through the charming town. Explore its quaint streets and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
The evening offers the option to gather for an optional dinner, where we’ll reflect on the day and share stories. Relax and unwind, knowing you’ve explored some of the most unique natural and artistic spots in the region.

Day 7: Aquismon – Tamul/Tamasopo/Puente de Dios/Micos Waterfalls
Today, we visit two stunning waterfalls – Tamul and Tamasopo. Tamul, the largest waterfall in the region, offers breathtaking views of its cascades surrounded by lush landscapes. Tamasopo, with its crystal-clear turquoise waters, invites you to relax and take in the natural beauty.
Next, we head to Puente de Dios, a majestic pool with clear blue waters, illuminated by sunlight filtering through the rocks. The water here glows, creating a mesmerizing effect that’s perfect for photos and reflection.
In the afternoon, we check in at eco-cabins near the Micos Waterfalls, where you’ll have time to unwind and enjoy the peaceful environment.
The day ends with an optional dinner and get-together with the group, sharing experiences and stories of the day’s breathtaking natural wonders.

Next, we’ll head to Tampico, a historical port city known for its unique blend of architectural styles. Wander through its vibrant streets, where the fusion of colonial, neoclassical, and art deco influences creates a distinctive urban landscape.
Upon arrival, check in at our accommodation, followed by an orientation walk through Tampico’s historic center. Here, you’ll have the chance to admire the city’s charming buildings and rich cultural heritage.
The day concludes with an optional dinner and get-together with the group, where you can reflect on the day’s experiences and enjoy the company of fellow travelers.

Both options offer unique views of the local marine life and the stunning natural landscapes surrounding Tuxpan.
In the evening, we’ll return to the peaceful, sleepy beach town of Tuxpan. Upon arrival, check in at our accommodation and enjoy an orientation walk of the town. Here, you’ll discover the local charm, quiet streets, and the beauty of this coastal town.
The day will conclude with an optional dinner and a get-together with the group, providing the perfect opportunity to reflect on the day’s adventures and relax with new friends.

After exploring the wonders of El Tajin, we’ll continue to Papantla, a nearby “Magic Town” famous for its charming downtown square and cathedral. Here, you’ll witness the incredible voladores (‘flyers’) ritual, a UNESCO Intangible Heritage performance that showcases the traditional flying ceremony.
Once in Papantla, check in at our accommodation and take a relaxing orientation walk through the town, soaking in its vibrant atmosphere and cultural beauty. Today, we will explore two captivating “Magic Towns”. We’ll start by heading to Xicotepec, a picturesque town where the fusion of pre-Hispanic and colonial influences is evident in every corner. Here, you’ll visit a local family-owned coffee farm, where you’ll learn about the art of coffee making from seed to cup. Experience the rich aroma and taste of this locally produced beverage that’s deeply intertwined with the region’s heritage.
Next, we’ll continue our journey to Pahuatlán, nestled in the mountains of Puebla, surrounded by lush coffee and pahua (a local variety of avocado) plantations. This serene town, home to a large indigenous population, offers a peaceful atmosphere enriched by Nahuatl and Otomi cultures. The people of Pahuatlán maintain their traditions, making it a place where time seems to slow down.
Upon arrival, we’ll check in at our accommodation and take a peaceful orientation walk through the town to soak in its beauty. In the evening, enjoy an optional dinner and get-together with the rest of the group, where you can share experiences and relax after a day filled with culture and nature.

After breakfast, we’ll go to explore Cascadas Paraiso – a complex of 10 breathtaking waterfalls located in a beautiful mountainous area frequently covered with fog. Afterward, continue to Basaltic Prisms of Santa Maria Regla. This imposing 40-meter geological structure is made of shining rocks formed thousands of years ago and washed by four waterfalls. Finally, we’ll finish the day in Huasca de Ocampo – a charming “Magic Town” at the edge of the mountains where the bonanza of old times still reverberates, times when several ranches were built to make the Count of Regla the richest man of his time. Check-in at our accommodation, orientation walk, optional dinner, and get-together with the rest of the group in Huasca de Ocampo.
